Created by Charles Meynell, this distinctive cocktail captures the essence of an English garden through its refreshing and moreish character. Featured in Charlie & The Cocktail Factory’s luxury cocktail recipe book, this creation celebrates the artistry of mixology combined with Britain’s rich landscape heritage.

Dedicated to Lancelot “Capability” Brown, the legendary landscape architect who designed more than 170 parks, many of which continue to flourish today. Among his celebrated landscapes is Staunton Harold Hall, unsurpassed in the country, at least as far as Englishness is concerned.

Lancelot earned his famous nickname because he would often tell clients their estates had “capability” for improvement, transforming the English landscape with his visionary designs.

Ingredients

Wee Farm Distillery Gin, Amoretti Champagne Extract and Oxton’s Elderflower Liqueur.

Alcohol: 25% ABV
Volume: 700ml

Serving Recommendation

Pour into an ice-filled glass and simply add cloudy apple juice and fresh lime to taste for a refreshing garden-inspired cocktail.

Alternatively, add tonic water to taste for a lighter, sparkling summer serve.

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and cucumber to complete this elegant English garden experience.
